How to furnish a Brownstone?

A few impressions as a compromise between maintaining privacy and showing as much as possible of one of my preferred interior design styles - between classic simplicity, comfort and functionality. Townhouses and Brownstones were built all over New York City in the mid to late 1800s. These 19th-century homes are still around today and are commonly used for residences. Many neighborhoods in NYC with Townhouses and Brownstones have become Landmark Districts where the Landmarks Preservation Commission reviews alterations to these homes. 

Ein paar Eindrücke als Kompromiss zwischen Währung der Privatsphäre und Präsentation meiner bevorzugten Einrichtungsstile – klassischer Schlichtheit, Komfort und Funktionalität. Stadthäuser und Brownstones wurden Mitte bis Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts in ganz New York City gebaut. Diese Häuser aus dem 19. Jahrhundert gibt es noch heute und sie werden häufig als Wohnhäuser genutzt. Viele Viertel in New York City mit Stadthäusern und Brownstones sind zu denkmalgeschützten Vierteln geworden, in denen die Denkmalschutzkommission Umbauten an diesen Häusern prüft.

Kilka impresji, będących kompromisem między zachowaniem prywatności a prezentacją moich ulubionych stylów aranżacji wnętrz – klasycznej prostoty, komfortu i funkcjonalności. Domy szeregowe i kamienice z piaskowca powstały w całym Nowym Jorku w połowie i pod koniec XIX wieku. Domy te istnieją do dziś i często służą jako mieszkania. Wiele dzielnic Nowego Jorku z domami szeregowymi i kamienicami z piaskowca stało się dzielnicami historycznymi, gdzie Komisja Ochrony Zabytków (Landmarks Preservation Commission) dokonuje przeglądu przebudowy tych domów.
